Mobilegeddon set to alter Google search results starting today

Google has changed how its search algorithm works so that sites that display well on mobile devices get preference on search results starting today. That could mean that millions of people using their phones and tablets to conduct searches could find their sites missing from their normal place atop the search engine's listing.
