Russian cruise missiles land in Iran instead of Syria

Four Russian cruise missiles fired from ships in the Mediterranean Sea fell very far short of their targets in Syria and instead landed deep inside Iran. It appears the missiles did not explode, but instead simply crashed. A cargo ship with 33 people aboard has reportedly gone missing after getting caught in hurricane Joaquin off the coast of the Bahamas. 28 of the crew are American and the ship radioed that it was in trouble with no engine power and listing to one side late Thursday and has not been heard from since.
