Russian cruise missiles land in Iran instead of Syria

Four Russian cruise missiles fired from ships in the Mediterranean Sea fell very far short of their targets in Syria and instead landed deep inside Iran. It appears the missiles did not explode, but instead simply crashed. This is the first time Russia has used such missiles in combat and the duds appear to show that the country still lags behind in guidance technology.
