California passes physician assisted suicide act

Governor Jerry Brown signed into a law, yesterday, an act passed by the California legislature that allows doctors to assist terminally ill patients who wish to end their lives prematurely. Called the End of Life Option Act, the passage marks sixth state to pass right to die laws.
