Hurricane Patricia slams into Mexico

Hurricane Patricia, the strongest storm ever recorded in the eastern Pacific slammed into the coast of Mexico yesterday evening near the beach front town of  Barra de Navidad. It is not yet known how much damage occured, but early estimates suggest it was less than was expected and thus far no deaths have been reported.
