India heat wave deaths climb to 1,400
The heat wave in India has now claimed over 1,400 lives - people living there have taken to crowding into rivers, eating onions and attempting to squeeze into shady spots as temperatures soared to 117 degrees Fahrenheit. The high temperatures are expected to continue for several more days, scorching people and melting roads.
