Hurricane Patricia slams into Mexico
Hurricane Patricia, the strongest storm ever recorded in the eastern Pacific slammed into the coast of Mexico yesterday evening near the beach front town of Barra de Navidad . It is not yet known how much damage occured, but early estimates suggest it was less than was expected and thus far no deaths have been reported.
Hillarly Clinton grilled for 11 hours over Benghazi
Former Secretary of State and current candidate for president, Hillary Clinton sat before the House Select committee on Benghazi for 11 hours yesterday answering questions about the attack on the Libyan Embassy in 2012 where Ambassador Christopher Stevens and US Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith were killed.

President to veto defense bill
The White House has announced that President Obama plans to veto a bill this afternoon that has been passed by Congress because it employs a "trick" to increase defense spending without increasing domestic security spending.

Liberal Justin Trudeau wins Prime Minister race in Canada
Justin Trudeau, son of Pierre, and leader of a liberal movement sweeping Canadian politics, has won in the election for new Prime Minister. His party won an outright majority marking a major turn away from a decade of conservative rule.
